Tao is one of the founders of the Bay Area Spark Collective, a fire spinner, and a proud member of the getting-it-done crew. He spends his days working on open-source software for UC Berkeley (you're using it right now), and his evenings working on the home he shares with his wife Jasper and son Milo.
